Description: Perfect day for a drive down the Taconic State Parkway. The traffic was light, and the weather was clear and warm. In recent months, the TSP has been patrolled even more than usual with state and local LE. On this drive, none were noted at all. Completely clear. Light traffic enabled maintaining driving speed easily until the toll on the Saw Mill Parkway where traffic came to a standstill @ 1:21pm, with only 9 miles remaining. A spirited few minutes later, and the destination was reached.
The route taken was from RT 52 @ Taconic, starting South. Exiting Right on to the Saw Mill Parkway, and through the toll onto the Henry Hudson Parkway which drops you right onto the West Side Highway. 54th street was the destination.
